Delete your PitchSun account

This page explains how to delete your account in PitchSun — the web app at app.pitchsun.com and the PitchSun Android app — and what happens to your data.
How to ask
- Email hello@pitchsun.com from the email address you sign in with, with the subject Delete my PitchSun account.
- Say whether you want to remove only yourself or close the whole workspace. Only the workspace owner can close a workspace.
- We reply within 7 days to confirm it is really you, and finish the deletion within 30 days of that confirmation. We email you when it is done.
Before you ask, you may want to download your proposals and documents, because deleted data cannot be recovered.
What we delete
- Your user account: name, email, phone number and sign-in.
- If you close the workspace: every user in it, and all its customers, leads, bills, survey answers, photos, documents, designs, proposals, projects, payment records, inventory, service tickets and WhatsApp message history, plus any keys of services you connected.
- Proposal and status links you sent to customers stop working.
What we keep, and for how long
- Invoices and payment records for plans or credits you bought from PitchSun: kept as long as Indian tax law requires, which can be up to 8 years.
- Database backups: deleted data drops out of our backups within 14 days.
- Workspace change log (who changed what, with IP address): kept up to 2 years for security, then erased.
- If you remove only yourself from a workspace that stays open, the records you created stay with the workspace, because they belong to your company.
Data already held by others is outside our control: PDFs your customers downloaded, and anything in services you connected yourself (your WhatsApp Business, Razorpay, IndiaMART or inverter accounts). Delete it there directly.
Deleting only some data
You do not have to close your account to remove data. In the app you can delete a customer (with their files) from Leads, and any document from its project. A workspace owner can switch off a team member's access in Settings → Users; to erase that person's details as well, or for anything else, email hello@pitchsun.com.
